CONGRATULATIONS on your selection in the 2024 New Zealand Development Tour!

We are very excited that you have been selected to be part of this team and trust you will represent Little Athletics Queensland with pride.

The Tour will take place from Saturday 6^th – Monday 15^th January 2024. Our team will spend 10 days travelling, training and competing on the South Island of New Zealand.

The link below contains the 2024 New Zealand Development Tour Information Booklet.  This booklet contains all the details you need to know for this Tour.  Also included in this booklet is a link to all the details we require from each athlete. 

This detail, along with your $1,650 deposit is due by Friday 29^th September. As we have had an incredibly high demand for this Tour, should you not complete this detail or pay your deposit by the due date, you will forfeit your spot on the team and it will be offered to another athlete on our waitlist. There will be no exceptions to this.

If your circumstances have now changed and you can no longer attend, please advise please advise Shannon Kruger s.kruger@laq.org.au by no later than Monday 25^th September so your place can be offered to another athlete.

We understand and appreciate the excitement that comes with being selected in this team. However, we kindly ask that you don’t put anything on social media or spread the word about your place on the Tour until an official announcement is made from LAQ. This will only be done once the whole team is confirmed and all deposits have been paid. Our announcement will likely be the week beginning 2^nd October.  We have a large number of athletes to contact and this process can take some time and out of respect for those who missed out on selection, we would appreciate your co-operation.
