Following this evening’s announcement by Coles Little Athletics Australia (LAA), Little Athletics Queensland is excited to announce that Queensland will be the first Member Association to adopt Sport:80 as our new sports management platform provider.
The platform will initially launch next month to accept registrations for Ultimate Athletics, our primary school program focussed on getting primary school students active in a fun an accessible way; before being rolled out to Centres for their 2025/26 season registration.
“Sport:80 gives us a great opportunity to bring all our Little Athletics membership data across the state into one platform, and we’re excited to lead the way. Importantly it will also deliver a solution that will give our volunteers a significantly improved ability to run their Centres, the cornerstone of our sport.” said Little Athletics Queensland CEO, Christopher Davis.
The new platform will provide one seamless system for interacting with Little Athletics, including membership and event nomination, improving the online experience for all families.
For Centres, the platform will bring improved oversight of membership, including the ability to communicate more effectively with their families, event management functionality and a streamlined processes to manage payment of fees.
More information will follow over the coming months as the launch of this platform nears.
