🌟 The 2024 Coles Spring Carnival in Bundaberg: A Day of Fun, Excitement, and Personal Bests! 🌟

What an incredible event! Parents and athletes alike enjoyed a day filled with excitement under sunny skies. A special shoutout to world champion javelin thrower and Coles Ambassador, Kelsey-Lee Barber, for bringing extra energy to the day by greeting the crowd and signing autographs for our young athletes! 🎉🥇

Huge congratulations to West Bundaberg LAC for winning with nearly 4000 aggregated points and close to 2000 weighted points! 👏

🔥 The 100m Gift Races never fail to impress, with an energetic U9 athlete giving the older competitors a run for their money! 🏃‍♀️💨🏃‍♂️

🌟 Potential Best Performances (pending ratification):

  • Roman Allan (Springwood) smashed the U10 Boys 60m Hurdles with a time of 10.09 (previous: 10.24).
  • Nahkiyha Mullins-Walit (Deception Bay) threw an impressive 49.70m in the U17 Girls Javelin (previous: 47.27m).
  • Milly Sharpe (Gladstone) set a potential new record in the U17 Girls 1500m Walk with a time of 6:56.01 (previous: 6:57.29).
