Regional Development Officers
Employment: Parttime
Locations: Cooktown, Charleville, Cairns, Townsville or Mackay

Little Athletics Queensland is looking for individuals to deliver fun athletics programs across Queensland.

What you’ll do:
Run athletics programs at schools across the region
Work primarily with primary school children aged 5-12 years
Deliver holiday clinics and community events
Help train local coaches and volunteers
Build connections with schools, councils, and community groups
Support existing programs and help start new ones

Roles Available:

  • Cooktown: 4 days/week | Contract until 30 June 2028 
  • Charleville: 4 days/week | Contract until 30 June 2028

Little Athletics Queensland is hiring passionate Program Leaders and Program Assistants to deliver school-based athletics programs in 2025. These paid, entry-level coaching roles are ideal for students or anyone looking to kickstart their career in the sports industry. Flexible shifts in the early mornings and afternoons make it a great fit for active individuals with a love for athletics.
