Nominees for the merit award must have given a minimum of eight years’ service at Centre level.  This involvement should clearly demonstrate a commitment to furthering the growth and development of their Centre.  They should have been involved at Centre Committee for at least three years and have had regular involvement at Association competitions. 

Lee-Anne has been involved for 13 years with West Bundaberg, with significant
involvement for the past 8 years as a dedicated committee member. She has
demonstrated strong leadership and management overseeing finances and introducing
clearer electronic processes for accounting, administration and communication. Lee-
Anne has improved the organisation of club meets by redeveloping programs to meet all
members needs, particularly introducing and developing race walking and ensuring
information is clear and accessible for all families. She has the athletes growth and
development in mind whenever connecting with families. Her reliability, attention to
detail and willingness to take on multiple responsibilities reflect her high character and
ongoing commitment to the growth and success of West Bundaberg Centre.
